Since 1968, the Harrisville Teachers' Association has sponsored a number of fund-raising activities, such as dinners, to help underwrite the scholarships which it awards to deserving students. The photographs on this page would seem to indicate that teachers are skilled not only in the art of teaching but also make fine cooks. Pictured in the photographs are (clockwise from the upper left) Mrs. Taylor and Miss Shampine; Mr. O'Bryan; Mrs. Dusharm, Mrs. Heagle, and Miss Seelman; Mrs. Duggan and Mrs. Mary LaDuc; Mr. Durkish and Mrs. Leia LaDuc.
