new industrial arts building answer to long standing need Work on the new industrial arts building was started in the fall of 1965. It was completed the following spring. It went into full operation at the start of the current academic year. The building is all metal in construction and is fireproof. It measures forty by seventy-two and features a new type of lighting system. The enrollment of approximately one hundred and fifty students from grades eight through twelve represents an increase of twenty percent over last year. These students follow courses in several areas of the indus- trial arts curriculum. Current offerings include general shop, mechanical drawing, wood working, electricity, and an automotive course. Facilities will permit the addition of welding, spray painting, boat building and an expanded automotive sequence. Student in automotive course at: work on car. Ceramic students pour slip into molds.
