SENIOR-FACULTY BASKETBALL The annual Senior-Faculty Benefit Basketball Games were held in late March. In the preliminaries the Women Faculty team completely outclassed its opposition. In the Men Faculty-Senior Boys game, the Men Faculty made it three wins in the last four years by a score of 53-4-3. In all fairness, however, it must added that the Faculty was reinforced to a great extent by the addition of Mr. Lawrence and Mr. Kaminski to the roster. The Senior Boys substituted freely.

SCHOLARSHIPS Two members of the Senior Class were outright winners of State Regents Scholarships. Rodney Grigg, son of Mr. and Mrs Wilbur Grigg and Gerald Carvell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Carvell, were named winners. Richard Dundon, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Dundon, won a State Nursing Scholarship. Named as alternates were Allen Weaver (first alternate), son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton. Weaver, Sr.; Miss Bonnie Ritz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ritz; Mr Peter Benson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wellington Benson; Nursing Scholarship alternates were Amy Ford and Joyce Gibbs.
