CLASS OFFICERS John Waugh, President Sandra Valentine, Secretary Richard Greene, Vice President Pearl Scott, Treasurer Mr. James Chrysler, Homeroom Teacher and Adviser Highlights of the School Year For the second straight year, no member of the graduating class earned a New York State Regents Scholarship. Two of our Senior boys, however, placed on the alternate list. Gary Williams placed sixth and Richard Greene, seventh. If six or more of the original winners decide not to avail themselves of their scholarship, Gary and Richard would then be eligible to receive from two hundred and fifty to seven hundred dollars per year toward their college ex- penses. A word of advice to students now entering high school: now is the time to start preparing for a Regents Scholarship by placing academic activities FIRST in your life. This year’s magazine campaign can be honestly termed a success. Although ™® failed to surpass the record for total sales set by the I960 Senior Class, three of our members did nevertheless shatter the record for individual sales. Fearl Scott with sales of $1A0.09, Nancy Sayers with $138.31, and Mary Alice rank with $103.99 all bettered the old mark. These three girls accounted for $388.39 of the total $727.18. Barbara.
