First to receive this coveted award was Miss Helen Weekes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Weekes. A short time later, Don Hathway, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Hathway, was notified that the Carthage Chapter had awarded him a similar award.
