The Future Farmers of america proved to have an- other successful year. Once again they conducted their major fund raising project in which they sold citrus fruit and also churned apple butter at the Annual Log Cabin Festi- val. One week was set aside to promote FFA in which FFA members dressed up and had an area five banquet and attended chm'ch services that Smmday. FFA has another successful year

Bnilding, designing, and leaifning how things work Students work on their projects, in welding. Welding can be tedious work. Ron Schrock prepares for welding class. Mr Larry Breedloveg Vocational Welding I. Laura Kirkegaard Tim Gordon and Marty Baumhoff fix a television in electronics. Electronics involves learning how things such as televisions and radios work. They learn how to repair anything that is electron- ically involved. Three Harrisonville students were enrolled in the afternoon class. They were Laura Kirkegaard, Marty Baumhoff and Tim Gor- don. Laura Kirkegaard commented, It was a great experience. Many things are involved in welding. The class teaches construction, layout math, drafting and fabrication. Students have projects that they design and then build themselves.
