Mr. Hugh Cobb: BS in ED NWMSU: Drafting 1,2,3,4, ,General Electricity. 3. Students clean up their projects. 4. In general woods students learn about woodworking. 5. Mr. Buck Dalton: MS and BS at K. Metal classes allow students to work with various metals. General woods instruction includes woodworking, sanding and finishing skills. Relating students with things in the business world is what DECA is all about. Salesmanshi , advertising, and merchandising are a few of tlge things which are studied. There are four main activities that DECA is involved with: Social, which involves parties and other get-togethersg civic, which deals with the h yd community, leadership, which involves teaching CL how to manage stores, vocational activities, such as Radio Day. To be in DECA it is necessary to have been in CLC distributive education in school, which deals .sag with any and all activities having to do with ' is 1 getting products from the manufacturer to the consumer. Bnilding, designing, and leaifning how things work Students work on their projects, in welding. Welding can be tedious work. Ron Schrock prepares for welding class. Mr Larry Breedloveg Vocational Welding I. Laura Kirkegaard Tim Gordon and Marty Baumhoff fix a television in electronics. Electronics involves learning how things such as televisions and radios work. They learn how to repair anything that is electron- ically involved. Three Harrisonville students were enrolled in the afternoon class. They were Laura Kirkegaard, Marty Baumhoff and Tim Gor- don. Laura Kirkegaard commented, It was a great experience. Many things are involved in welding. The class teaches construction, layout math, drafting and fabrication. Students have projects that they design and then build themselves.
