Strange smells lingering in the halls, all sorts of creatures being brought to school, learning and doing all sorts of neat things. These were a few of the things involving the science department. Several activities this year were a trip to Kansas City to attend the Science Fair which was held April 12-15, and also a science field trip. The students in chemistry and physics this year seem quite interested in the programs and are usually willing to work hard to understand the material, stated Mr. Gettings. i .

Social Science curriculmn remained the same this year. It's been an enjoyable year. Students are starting to take more interest in history it seems History Connors. Classes Undo Past 1- Mr. Pete zickfield: M.A. SEMSUQ Missouri History, Geography, Political Parties, Urban America, Current Events. 2- Mr. Gene Oliver: M.S. in Social Studies CMSUQ Early World History, Sociology, Readings in World History. 3- Mr. John Conners: B.A. at Wm. Jewell graduate study at MU and CMSUg Economics, Am. History, National American Government, State and Local Government, Consumer Economics and Advanced American History. 4. Margret Hooper and Melissa Wheeler attended Sophomore Pilgrimage at Jefferson City. 5. Mr. Zickfield gives last minute help before the best. F. 1 . said Mr. Zickfield. , I like my classes where the students showed self-discipline and regard for others, said Mr. Mr. Oliver, Social Science Club sponsor said, Most of the students seemed to enjoy history and sociol- ogy.
