l BYRON ELLIS For +hir+y-eighf years H.T.H.S. had fhe privilege of having on i+s facul+y an energefic man who developed a new sysfem of disfribuiing and sior- ing mechanical drawing, which is now being used all over Chicago. Mr. Ellis was in charge of fhe Harrisonian from I934-l954 and devel- oped i+ inro a fine annual. He was an ac+ive, undersianding, and helpful 'reacher whom Harri- son s+uclen+s will always remember. He died in July, l956, leaving a wife, son, daugh+er, and many s+u- denis who will long remember him as a helpful and undersianding +eacher.
