Zin vmnriaun MRS. MARY HUNTER MISS MARIE I.. GANNON Mrs. Mary Hunter's death, October 4, 195l, shocked her friends and students. Mrs. Hunter first taught at Harrison in September, 1922. She eagerly served on many committees and was active in social service Work in the community. The Mary Hunter Memorial Library is a tribute to this fine teacher. Before Miss Marie L. Gannon's untimely death, October 31, 1951, she helped her students to become successful in the business world. Miss Gannon will long be remembered by the faculty and students. RETIRING FACULTY A Q. 5, , mf jr' fiif 5 U s MR. lOl-IN H. MCCLELLAN MRS. FLORENCE SKIDMORE MR. WOODRUFF ALMLOF MR. WALTER M. RENNIE Mr. McClellan has taught physics ever since he was assigned to Harrison in 1915. His thirty-seven-and-a-half years at Harrison have been happy ones. Mr. McClellan will enter the business world upon his retirement. Mrs. Skidmore was assigned here as a Latin teacher in 1914. During her teaching career, she has been active in school affairs until her retirement in February, 1952. Students will recall her as a wonderful teacher and person. Mr. Almlof started teaching in 1912, and was assigned to Harrison in l9l3. He has seen Harrison under all conditions, and We are grateful for his many contributions. He plans to retire to a farm in upper Michigan. Mr. Rennie, after having taught in the Chicago schools since Ianuary, 1922, came to Harrison in 1947. Many students have learned the fundamental con- cepts of building radios in Mr. Rennie's classes. We Wish him success in any plans he has for the future. f
