June 1, 1e5v THE BEACON Page 35 H 51 HARRISON HILL WINS CHAMPIONSHIP A hard fighting Harrison Hill five came out on top in the annual Fort Wayne junior high tournament. Victory came after four grueling games. They defeat- ed Harmar, Jefferson, and Smart to reach the finals. Forest Park the game ended without any further scoring, At the close of the game the Franklin team was awarded the sportsmanship trophy and Harrison Hill received the championship trophy. A capacity nessed every session. crowd wit- defeated Washington and Franklin H.H. ga F.G. F. T.P. to reach the finals. In the extra period Miller made one free throw , and ' HMUHM MWAEMMWWWMUM - ENDBALL Harrison Hill's endball made up of fifth and sixth grade boys,had a very good season. They won four out of five games in their division,winning from South Wayne, Hoagland, Washington, and Study. In the championship game they lost by a score of 45 to 35.
