MR. ALEXANDER L. ARNING QM Principal P' V To date your Senior Year has been one of historical significance. To date, in your minds, I am sure that the most impressive localahisrorical event was the successful completion by the football team of Harrison High School's first undefeated and un- tied season, climaxed by the impressive victory over Rye in which we prevented them from win- ning rheir thirty-fourth consecutive victory. On the national level we End committees from all of the forty-eight states meeting, at the re- quest of the President, to conduct the White House Conference on Education, while on the international level we had theheads of state meeting at Geneva to try to find the answer to the tensions threatening world peace. I feel confident that the members of the Class of 1956 are well qualiiiecl to make their contribu- tions to the solving of the problems of tomor- row, on all levels, as effectively as the football team ,solved the problem of conquering our seemingly invincible rivals.
