DEDICATION It is the wish of the Class of 1944 that this issue of Reminiscence be dedicated to all our former classmates now in their country's service. 3

Page 7 text:

In the lobby of our school hangs a ser- vice flag. Each star on it represents to us, someone from Harrison High who has gone into a branch of the service. While we dedicate this book to our own classmates in uniform, we are thinking of these others as well, wishing them all the luck possible, wherever they may be. SENIOR COUNCIL •’ In recalling our four years here at Har- rison High School, we of the Class of 1944 can only reflect how good and worthwhile it all has been. Although we sometimes wished we could have done it in the 1930's, we realize we learned many useful things, met many grand people, and had some very happy times going through high school. We'll never forget what work and fun Every Family Has One” was, nor with what suc- cess our square dance met this year. But, our greatest accomplishment we feel was this yearbook produced despite obstacles and while supporting our Senior Service Fund. We haven’t done it alone, though. To our sponsors, Miss DiPace and Mr. Marshall especially, we gladly give much credit and thanks. Also, to Captain James Eldredge and Mr. Joseph O’Shea, former sponsors, We owe thanks and appreciation. Sealed: Miss DiPace, adviser; B. Eisgrau, treasurer; V. Corbetta, president; S. Maginess, vice president; S. LaPorta, secretary; Mr. Marshall, adviser; Standing: B. Klune, G. O’Connor, M. Mueller. 5
