It was held May K, 1985 at the Hayes Township Hall, many speical decorations were constructed for this memorable night. Honors Night was held on the evening of Wednesday , Hay 13th, in the High School Gy . Many awards and scholarships were given to deserving students. Mr. Tobey introduced many guests and teachers who presented awards for; service, Honor Society members, newspaper and yearbook staff, Spanish, and draft- ing. This night was very important not only to our students but to the faculty and the entire community. 118 HONORS NIGHT On Sunday, May 26th, the class of 1985 assembled in the gymnasium for their graduation ceremonies. A light rain prevented an outdoor ceremony. However, the seniors would not let it dampen their spirits as 121 graduates recieved their diplomas. Speeches by Valedictorian William Maddox, and Salutorian Richard Jones highlighted the 1Ā£ hour ceremony. As you can see by the many joyous faces, for the class of 1985 this ceremony was very special indeed. We would like to wish the class of 1985 the best of luck in their future endeavors.
