The leading hitter was Mike Kennedy with an average of .376 while Paul Dolinski was voted most improved. Team captains were Don Krocker and John Roth; Roth was also named most valuable player. The final record was 5-10. Boy’s JV Above; Don Krocker shows good hustle on a back up play. Left; Team work is something that is needed even when warming up. 29

Sharp, C. Brandy. Missing: A. Weitzel, K. Erwin, D. Meek, J. Pepin, D. Benoit. The leading hitter was Tom Swallow at .392; Swallow was also voted MVP. All conference first team honors went to Tony Sharp. Honorable mention went to: Dean Meek, Curt Brandt, Tom Swallow, and Craig Sharp. The season record was 6-15, but the Hornets should be strong next year with returning powers Curt Brandt (.366) and Craig Sharp (.340).

Boy's Track had an overall record of 3-7. The team placed 6th In the conference. MVP — Tom Rolls. Tom also won 220 yard dash at the Conference Meet, and qualified for the state finals. The mile relay team set a new HCHS record, with a time of 3:45.2 which deserves acknowledgement. The team consisted of Tom Rolls, Bob Haskin, Andy Shull, and Mark Car I strom. HCHS
