Varsity The 1978-79 Varsity football team compiled a record of two wins, six losses, and one tie. The tri-captains were: A. Weitzel, T. Roberson, and T. Swallow. The most valuable player was A. Weitzel. The leading tackier was D. Boulton. The most Improved was A. Shull. T. Roberson was named first team offensive guard and first team defensive line on the all conference team. Roberson was also named first team all area defense by Mt. Pleasant MORNING SUN Newspaper.
