Harrison 48625 Welcome to Harrison Community High School. The day was August 28th. The doors of the school, like the pages of this book, open to reveal the events of the 1977-78 school year. Students and teachers fell in for the gala of events. Spirit Week started everything off. Next came Homecoming which led into basketball season. Numerous dances were staged after the home games. Christmas showed throughout the school with decoration competition and a dance which included our own Christmas tree. Valentines Day saw girls and guys alike wearing colored carnations from loved ones or secret admirers. Dreams , the Junior Senior Prom had a very good turnout. The Seniors also had a catered smorgasborg dinner dance at the Lion's Club. Although warm and muggy, commencement turned out excellently for the 137 graduates. The gymnasium was filled to capacity while parents, relatives and friends watched the seniors receive diplomas. The doors now close to ready the school for another year.
