Head Coach Dave Rowe contributes this to Houghton Lake 6 the fact that his team had tremendous talent and they Roscommon 0 won their first game. He said this made the boys believers. The Hornets showed plenty of of fensive punch, all season long, gaining 2,525 yards and scoring 33 touchdowns. Plaued by fumbles throughout the season probably cost the team the Conference Cham 1 pionship. But with all considered, we accomplished many of our team goals in 1976. Mr. Harris said, 1 was very proud ofthe young men who played football in 1976 and I am sure that all of us who were part of the team will have fine memories of the 1976 season for many years to Q.
