HOMECOMING DAY! The halls and classrooms were filled with very suave Elvis’, Teen Angels, and Betty Lou’s from the era of the 1950’s. A “noise” pep rally was the main attraction of the day. It featured the best dressed a- wards which went to: Mr. James Schneider, from the Sci- ence Phys. Ed. departments, and Mary Gatton, a junior. A parade carried the Homecoming Court and class floats through town and onto the field for a victory game. During the half time ceremonies, Karen Baukus was crowned as the Homecoming Queen, by the co-captains of the football team. The team finished off Farwell with a 34-6 score. The “3rd Time Coming” provided music for the dance following the game, where the Queen and her court were formally in- troduced. 26
