We, the Hornet Staff, humbly dedicate this yearbook to Mrs. Barbara Richards, our former advisor. We do appreciate her tireless efforts to make our yearbook a success. We shall be ever grateful for her winning smile, her eagerness to help us, and her never ending devotion to the belief that our yearbook should always achieve the highest degree of perfection. 2 Index Sponsor Mrs. Gaile Griffore Editor-In-Chief Diane Cooley Assistant Editor Kathy Ashcraft Student Life 4-11 Sports Tom Clark 12-28 Activities Debby Mayfield 29-40 Clubs Connie Smith 41-52 Faculty Becky Heintz 53-58 Seniors Pam Gassman 59-65 Underclassmen Connie Hilton 66-83 3 There’s a Time for ... A moment here, a moment there, And soon an hour has passed away, We note while hardly yet aware, The passing of another day. We think we have no time to spare; How well we fill it, who can say? A moment here, a moment there, And soon an hour has passed away. Yet this is certain everywhere, Then figure it as best you may: All time is ours for work or play, All time is ours to richly share, A moment here, a moment there. We're all going somewhere, traveling thru all kinds of experiences. Some are easy, and some are difficult. We have traveled together thru school, down the same road and now we must go our separate ways. We are grateful for one another and for the coopera- tion to make this Yearbook a reality. As our paths separate, we leave a parting wish for good fortune to all seniors wherever the road may lead them. Editor-In Chief Diane Cooley
