Volume VI Harrison Community Schools Harrison, Michigan in 20 Minutes The Yearbook Staff of 1964 proudly presents - 20 Lakes in 20 Minutes. Harri son Community High School is nestled in the pines, birches, and oaks of central Michigan and surrounded by the clear-blue lakes and streams of Clare County. Harri- son has long been called the city with 20 Lakes in 20 Minutes . Here in Harrison much of our livelihood derives from the year round water recreation found in our num- erous bodies of water. The Hornet staff felt it fitting that this, the 1964 Hornet, should have a theme portraying our own, Water Wonderland here in Harrison. 3 SCHOOL BOARD: Paul Clark, Wayne Trowbridge, Robert Larson, James Schneider, Jane Lipovsky, Meredith Stanfield, Chas. Harrison Takes With strong hitting and good infielding, Hatrison marched on to their second consecutive Tomahawk Conference championship. In doing so. Harrison won six games and lost two. Although the Hornet missed four consecutive deadlines, the staff had a wonderful experience producing the yearbook. The eight members of the staff knew little about how to put a book together until attending the Cen- tral Michigan yearbook clinic in the fall. During the year it was a frantic mess mailing mats to the publisher but eventually it all came back in one piece and we're pretty proud of it. Dave Fosgett.
