rinripafa fiiieaszmge Dear Seniors: The last four years have been the most significant period in your lives. During these years you have changed from children to pre-adults. Somewhere along the line you had your first date. You attended your first dance. You learned to drive the car and got your driver's license. Some of you smoked your first cigarette. You played your first game in an inter-scholastic sport, possibly scored your first touch- down or hit your first home run. Many of you have already decided the direction which the remaining years of your formal education will take. Now you are about to have one of the most ego-stimulating experiences that can come to a young man or woman, that of receiving a high school diploma. The last four years of your lives have brought more developments for the en- hancement of human dignity than any comparable period in the history of America. Freedom for you has constantly changed during your four high school years from an ideal to a reality. Barriers have fallen and opportunities are appearing everywhere. These opportunities bring challenges, the like of which you have never seen before. You are now in competition. Your education and character must be superior if you are to succeed in the frightening pace of a frantic age that is already here. Continue your formal education and exploit all resources that might contribute to your becoming the most needed individual possible. God speed to you. Sincerely yours, L.
