Hi Tri helps to prepare good citizens for the future. Students work hard after school to produce a junior and senior play each year. Devotion The activities of our clubs show that We are inter- ested in our community-both now and in the future. Our activities range from selling peanuts for Kidis Day to running the city government in National Youth VVeek. Learning how to be good citizens is taught by our school organizations, but We donit stop there. By Working with the civic groups, We are not only practicing what we are taught, but we are pre- paring ourselves for the future.

Our World VVhat subjects interest the students? XVl111tCVGl' they may he, they are prohahly taught at H.T.H.S. We are offered vocational as well as college prepara- tory subjects. VVe learn how to sew a fine seam or how to take a car apart and put it hack together again-or at least try to. In order to provide a modern and functional cur- riculum, H.T.H.S. takes advantage of new ideas such as our experimental history class which emphasizes films instead of the regular textbooks. The variety of classes makes it comparatively easy for each student to study in his own Held of interest. .il- N The girls spend one hour in the classroom and two hours working at their jobs.
