A Yuletide concert was presented to the public by the orchestra in co-operation with the band and chorus during the Christmas holidays, This entailed a great deal of work on the part of the orchestra members, At special night ses- sions every week extensive practice was carried on, This evening practice was put into effect to permit students who were unable to fit an orchestra practice period into their schedule to participate in concerts. With the coming of spring, the orchestra began working on selecf tions for instrumental contests, The excellent ratings awarded to participants in the contests gave evidence of the extensive progress made by the orchestra this year. bills img-3 -. .M ,-- .w ' : -T:--rs ie'- , 'gy 51.25 1 'w ..3-, , ,r,72f'f f1-six, X P r Row 3: Peggy Fulkerson, Shirley Barker, Mae Dees, Carol Sanderson, Dick Arrnistead, Iohn Lee, Shirley Stephenson, Earl Cooley, lack Harper, Richard Vine- yard, Charles Kielhorn.
