EDITORIAL KEYSTONES MAN OF THE YEAR ln this year of 1946 the man to whom Wenof H.T.H.S. have looked for guidance has been our principal, Mr. McConnell. He came to us from Anna-Ionesboro, bringing with him modern ideas concerning school administration. These methods together with his genial personality have Won the gratitude and respect of us all. We students like his sense of humor, his ability to get along with people, 'his pa- tience, his quiet yet determined manner, and his enthusiastic interest in our activities, in which he has encouraged us to rely upon ourselves. The Student Council and National Honor Society are two of the most important innovations among this year's activities. Mr. McConnell has not merely filled the place of his illus- trious predecessor, he has made a new one for himself. With thanks to him for his inspiring leadership, we now pronounce him Man of the Year. 4:2Er
