l lomccroming Spirits undampened by the prospect ot meeting a strong Centralia team, the students ot HTHS surged and shouted through a joyous Homecoming on October 3 and 4. A parade of cheering boosters wound through the streets the evening ot October 3 to Taylor Field tor the traditional bontire pep meeting. Most of October 4 was spent in preparing floats and cars tor the parade that night. After another pep meeting, school was dismissed to enable students to prepare thoroughly for the big evening. Starting at 5:00 from the school, the long procession advanced toward town, around the square, and out to Taylor Field amid multi- tudes ot townspeople. Even the lfl-U defeat by the Centralia Orphans didn't tumble spirits of celebrating students. 4169 The Strong Centralia Team was weak-in spots Silly Sophomores salute Centralicx Make way for the Iuniors!
