BAND The Harrisburg High School's brilliantly uniformed band is composed of thirty-two grade school and high school students. The band members have demonstrated their ability to the townspeople of Harrisburg by appearing several times at pre-game rallies and furnishing music for the showing of the 1951 Chevrolet at Larson's Chevrolet Center. The band, led by its prancing majorettes, Sandra Jones, Earline Riggs, and their Drum Major, Mildred Betterton, played at the home football and basketball games, and on several occasions formed the initials of their school name, E and H. Band members Edwin Coate and Claude Weikel played a saxaphone duet entitled nTwo Guitarsn at the Junction City Grade School, our annual Junior Carnival, and on the Soil Conservation program. Their accompanist was Rooene usey.
