'53 ta Wa Moa 0 U oh- Q WIRE US BE JUDGED BY OUR DEEDSW Nine members 01 the ,resent Senior Class embarked upon their high school education t Harrisburg High School in September of l9h7 They Were GUY Hehns Don Thom Esther Clark, Bob Evans, Eddy Gilbert, Bob Leabo, Connie Stone, Don Phillips, and Wilma Adams F F1 teh The next year brought Nancy Gllbertn ROJ Angllna Lynn Huston, and Tancps 9 Jacob Joined the class as a Junior, Sylvenus Pace as a Senior The first few week ound the erstwhile scholar getting into the swing of school routine and getting through Fresh men initiation It was during this year that a memorable Freshmen party was held at t he home of Johnnie Rice The second year of high school found many of the boys turning out for the different shorts Those taking part were Eddy Gilbert, Lynn Histon, Guy Hehn, Don Philli s, and Bob Evans The Sophomore class was in charge of initiation, and after the regular initia- tion the Sonhomores gave a party which wa- returned by the Freshmen Our Junior year started with the Junior Carnival at which Nilma Adams and Eddy oilbert were crowned King and Queen The Junior enior Banquet was held April 27, 1050, at the Smorgasbord in Eugene The final year of our high school career saw the Seniors entertain their Senior legion basketball team at a banquet Later in the year the Seniors went to Taft for the annual Senior Skip Crimson and white were chosen as the class color , with curnaticn as our class flower Graduation for the clas of 19, took '-aqf in the evening of Nav 3l,ending a sucessful high school carey ,ijj!'!,,f X k ,?,,..f 3 X
