L. L. Soo1ETY THE D. L. L. Society was organized just one year ago under the advisor' ship of Miss Jessie Bowers. Since that time the members of the club have had many interesting programs pertaining to Roman life and cus- toms. Although most of the work has been of a serious character, we did enjoy several humorous programs. They have arranged excellent programs which have served the twoffold purpose of being both practical and interesting. For instance, they learned the test for toothfpaste and headache tablets for harmful ingredients, and the method of dyeing various fabrics. J. C. club. The purpose of the club, which is to further the commercial work, has been carried on and a great deal was accomplished under the direction of Miss Byers, our adviser. Although the J. J. C. is a study club, several delightful parties and dances were held. We consider it a great pleasure to have been members of this club and We hope the future club members will End it as beneficial, and that they will carry on the work for years to come.
