N l, I CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL KATHRYN LOUISE AMMON Great Cow! C. A. O. '26, junior Civic Club, D. L. L., Le Cercle Francais, Cross Word Puzzle Bazaar Committee, Central-Camp Hill Debate. Kay's a gofgetter , we'll vouch for that! She's inclined toward-well, er-radical ideas, but it's hard to find anyone truer fundamentally. Speaking of truefblue, did you ever notice the color of Kay's eyes? Blue, the color of larkspur, of fringed gentians drenched in dew, blue that speaks of hidden depths and+but why rave on? Soon that blue will win its way into someone's heart-and presto!-white cottage with green shutters and geraniumespilled boxes! if DOROTHY BARNES Well, it stands to reason. S. S. S., Beta Phi, D. L. L., Chemistry Club, junior Red Cross Club, Orchestra '25. Can you imagine how Room 12 will miss Dot's running here, there, and everywhere? With that giggle of hers, Dot has livened up many a dull situation, for she seems to be an enthusiastic believer in the theory, Laugh and the world laughs with you. Seriousness, however, comes to the fore when Dot gives her views on sociological questions, But, after all, this would be a dry, old world if there were not some funemakers in it. E. LYLLIAN BARNES Wonderful ! There are many times when Lyl comes to the front, es- pecially when something that rhymes with Pete is mentioned. We do not know exactly why, but we have our suppositions. Lyl is a partner in the Central cup and saucer relationship- that is, you never see one without the other, for you never see Lyl without Mim . May she and her primary work form another successful relationship! ff DOROTHY BEGELFER wan, ru fell ya! Le Cercle Francais, Orchestra, Zeta Chi Zeta, junior Civic Club, Cross Word Puzzle Bazaar Committee, Class Banquet Committee, Class Play Sales Committee, Class Play Decorating Committee. Doesn't Dotty look like a cherub? But really she is one of the humanest girls of her class. Ever hear Dotty talk? She has the sweetest little lisp you ever heard. May you ever continue to brighten your corner, Dorothy, as you have done while a member of the Midyear Class of '16! ff ETHEL BLISS Editorfinfchief of the ARGUS 125'-'26, assistant school notes editor '24-'25, president, junior Civic Club, president, Red Cross Club, secretary, D. L. L., Glee Club, S. S. S., Class Play Cast, William Penn'Central Debate. p..Talk about pep ! Here's LaLa with more than enough. Ever see her tackle a job? It's bound to go, and mighty quick at that. We think she'll be a fine one for washing dishes quickly in that uroseftwined cottage. TWENTY'TWO

PGI ' PQ COMMENCEMENT ARGUS ELIZABETH BROWN Aw, ya, don't say l Vice p1esident,j, j. C. '26, Debating Club, Glee Club, junior Civic Club, T. W. C. A. Club. If the wishes of Brownie and her classmates come true, we have a future artist in our midst. Brownies artistic ability is not confined to paper alone, for she has painted a picture of a willing little worker on the memories of her classmates. 71 EDITH MAY BRUNNER Gee, but I'm dumb! Debating Club, Class Play Cast, assistant observations editor, Argus '24-'25, Honor Roll. Edith-the name itself means rich gift -is of that small, favored group that all of us respect and admire. She has a keen, clever mind and revels in solving the hardest problems and in thinking through the weightiest questions. There is really no need to mention her ability-she can excel in all things. Actress, debater, writer, and philosopher,-she is all of them. 11 HELEN W. BYERS Gimme some, pleeze! I. F. F. '25, 1.1. C., Debating Club, junior Civic Club. Snookie seems to be extremely fond of Wilbur buds. These, however, are not the only sweets of which she is fond, so we hear. But, aside from these little frivolities, Helen expects to follow in the footsteps of a noble woman, Florence Nightin- gale. Some of us are beginning to feel sick already, Snookie. 7 7 DOROTHY CALHOUN S. A. E., j. j. C., junior Civic Club, Glee Club, Debating Club, Class Play Ticket Committee. Did you mention parties? Dot's right there with her best bib and tucker on. They say that those who do not talk so much have more time to think. If this is true, our Dot is a deep thinker. Don't worry, Dot , it's a trait some of us envy! if FREDA CLAUSEN Freda is our guiding light-or rather, her head is, because cf its beautiful red hue. Freda is quite a popular young lady, especially with the opposite sex. Her classmates wish her the best of luck in her future career, or should we say, life work? TWENTY'THRl?.B
