WILL .l l VVe, the Senior Class of Central High School, of the City of Harris- burg, County of Dauphin, and State of Pennsylvania, being of fairly sound mind, somewhat doubtful memories, and remarkable understanding, do hereby jointly and severally ordain, publish, and declare this to be our Last VVill and Testament, revoking and making void all wills by us at any time heretofore made. First-To the faculty our appreciation of the constant effort which they have put forth, during our blissful stay at Central, in preparing us to successfully explore that unknown country, the future. Second-We do hereby bestow and bequeath our social prestige to those juniors who shall be known as Dignified Seniors. Third-To the Juniors we do bequeath the first lunch period, provided their stomachs can stand the shock. Fourtlzi-To those undergraduates who haven't as yet acquired the knack of getting away with it we do hereby give a book of Excuses by Ann Ruth Silver and Elizabeth Dunlap. Fifth-To Mr. John Rolla Miller we do give and bequeath a tin bank in which he can save all the A's he thinks we note-Writing Seniors do not deserve. He'll soon be able to retire. Sixth-To Mr. A. P. Orth we do bequeath the title of Central's Fashion Plate. Sewnllz-VVould that we, the Seniors, were Prince Charming that we might come to woo the golden heart of no less a person than Miss Annabel Swartz. Eighth-Upon Miss Adeline Byers we do bestow an extra day to be added to the end of next February so that it will not be necessary for her to wait the customary four years till the next leap year. Nirzllz-We, the Seniors, during our stay at Central, have made a rare collection of gems, which we now bestow upon the following: The Seniors bestow their footsteps upon the floors of Central and to the halls their airy laughter. - Mary May Hoffman's dignity to Janet Hertzler. Louise Eaton's modesty to Amelia Hoover. Blanche Cohen bequeaths a red necktie to Mr. John Rolla Miller, to make him look more like the sheik he is. Frances Tate's height to Ruth West. She'll have a better chance of becoming a big Woman in the affairs of this world someday. Alice Ely's femininism. to Mary Hamaker. Elizabeth Cramer's horror of being the famous Mr. Bertram Saul's dancing partner to Anna May Lightner. We, the Seniors, bestow. upon Mr. Georgia Porgie Goetz a pink rattle and a kiddie-car, also a song which he is to sing while out riding, entitled, When Will the Women Stop Babying Me ? Gladys Sterick's slenderness to Bessie Yorsh. Betty Minter's good nature to Walter E. Severance. Helen McPhail's executive ability and her influence over her classmates to Dorothy Roberts. Eleanor Wolfinger's gift 0' gab to the shy Frances Eaton. Some of Victoria Houck's extra hat size to Elsie Carr. Lastly-Because all good things are saved for the last, so that the reader or the hearer may be pleasantly surprised, we do hereby give and bequeath to our sweetheart our deepest gratitude for all that she has done for us in helping to make these years so pleasant.
