Through this withdrawal, Central's Delaating team proper has not figured in any prominent debates with other high schools throughout the state. ln the choosing of the school team, however, many lively intersclass matches were held. After such elimina- tion the team was composed of Harold Eckert, Ruth Beatty, Mary Rodney, and Paul Selsam. Immediately after resigning from the league, Central organized a Boys' Team and a Girls' Team. The Boys' Team consisted of Harold Eckert, Louis Goldstein, Paul Selsam, and Marlin Geiger. The Girls' Team consisted of Ruth Beatty, Mary Rodney, Martina Moeslein, and Dorothy Rishel. These teams deliated two representative teams of York High School on the evening of May 25. The question in issue was: Resolved, That state wide prohibition would lie a lietter solution to the liquor prolalem in l'ennsylvania than county local option. The lmoys upheld the aH'irmative side at York, while the girls - defended the negative side at home.
