Freshmen F walking on a morn' in April You should see some bits of green, Slowly rambling towards the High School A most animated scene, You willlcnow by looks and gesture By their faces, too, I Ween, That they're Freshmen. If you go inside the building You can see them in the hall, Some are big and some are little Some are short and some are tall, Some are bright and some are stupid But that's not worst of all, They're Freshmen. Go into a Freshman class-room You can hear each one reciteg Some in Latin, some in English Struggling hard with all their might, Ne'er desparing when they Hunk it. Those children they're all right, WVhen tl1ey're Freshmen.
