Until the Lower Dauphin .Baseball League admitted the Crusaders to their Public School League in 1952, the Crusaders were in no organized league.. Through the efforts of stalwarts such as: Fred Wheaton, Dick Crowley, Harry Wecker, Joe Robinski, Tom Maloney, Bruno Dilviartile, Leo Hylan, Robert DelSanto, john Acri, Charles Piersol, George Lusk, and Tom Clark, Catholic Higlf won its Hrst championship in league competition. They won 8 games and lost 2. The overfall record was 10 wins and 2 losses. Qviarysville is not in the leaguej Wheaton, the mainstay of the pitching staff, won 6 games without a reverse. Crowley pitched 3 wins and 1 loss. Clark posted the other win. DiMartile and Maloney made sparkling plays at the Keystone sack. Robinski became Hrst sacker in the league. DelSanto lead the hitting with .411. Maloney followed with .41O.
