Consul, Timothy Weiss, conducts the meetings, Aediles, Ronald Gray and Margaret Gruhie provide game and reports for amusement. Leonore Shimp serves as Scrihe and 'leanne Marie Gillis, the Quaestor. Ii EL CLUB CERVANTES Sister Mary Colette, R.S.M., Adviser Named for the great Spanish writer, Migiiel Cervantes, the club supple' ments Class study of the language and gives memhers opportunity to engage in conversation using common ex' pressions of every day parlance among the Castilians. The memhers devote some time to studying the social life and customs of the Spanish people.

gs-A JUNIOR CATHOLIC LITERATURE CLUB Sister Mary Cletus, R SM Adviser This group concentrated its efforts on becoming acquainted with and enjoy' ing American Catholic Novelists of the past as well as contemporary authors, Animated reports of new and interesting authors gave stimulus to cluh meetings the second Wednesday of each month. Jean Marie Winters, president, skillfully guided these seekers of prohtable leisure time. MA Y HAPPY LE CERCLE FRANCAIS Sister Mary Colette, R.S.M., Adviser Club members meet on the fourth Wednesday of the month. With Marydel Wildeman, the president, leading, French songs are sung. The value of the language, French cus- toms, fetes and national heroes are studied. French dialogues give oppor' tunity for practice in conversation as well as amusement for the club members. SOPHOMORE ENGLISH CLUB Sister Mary Georgina, R.S.M., Adviser Through the preparing and present' ing reports and panel discussions, these sophomores practice speaking correctly, writing effectively, reading intelligently, and listening attentively. This group prepared and presented a panel discussion to the students of Lebanon Catholic High School in February as a feature of the Student Council Exchange Program.

ASI DIVIDUALT LEN S HUCKLEBERRY FINN DRAMATISTS Sister Mary Eleanor, R.S.M., Adviser To appreciate literature to such extent that it hecomes fun is the purpose of these i'Broadway, Here We Come Stars. The widefawake freshmen have made Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn, Sherlock Holmes, Polyanna, Becky Sharp, Marjorie Daw, and many other storyhook characters part of their daily living. ART CLUB Sister Agnes Ann, S.C.C., Adviser The Art Cluh gives to its memhers the opportunity to work in mediums which interest them. Discussions on weaving and leather tooling occupied much time. Painting: cards, trays, card holders, and soap modeling hrought interesting results. The display of posters for Open House at Christ- mas time delighted all who visited the School. CHEFS' CLUB Sister Anne Marie, I.H.M., Adviser Did you ever catch the smell of cooked hacon on a cool morning in camp? Yes. there is adventure and fun in camping outside. But outside over red glowing coals or inside in a friendly kitchen the Chefs' Cluh will prove to you the most famous cooks of all time have been men.
