The eighth grade started the school year with an enroll- ment of 47 students with Mrs. Coleman as their sponsor. Later in the year 3 classmates returned to Texas. The Student Council rep- resentatives were Barbara Damschroder and Jerry Krue- ger. Class Reporters were Beverly Flick and David Haar. On October 31 Russell Furstnau entertained the class with a Halloween party at his home. LEFT TO RIGHT: Treasurer, Gary Andersong Secretary, Russell Furstnaug Presi- dent, Jim Oweng Vice-President, Joyce Miller. The eighth grade enjoyed putting on the Christmas assembly, telling the Christmas story in music, choral reading, and tableaux in costume. They also enjoyed a Christ- mas exchange, at which time the class p'resented Mrs. Coleman with a bathroom scales. She appreciated it very much. The class is very proud of the students who have taken part in extra-curricular activities such as Senior Band, Junior Band, Junior High Cheerleading, Junior High Basketball, and Track.
