GOODBYE Only the word Itself Is quickly over: Only the letters will spin with the wind. Rippling the lilac-tides of summer, the clover - Rustling the magic we never again will find. Outlasting this goodbye we glibly speak Are dreams unquenched - a music we never heard ... Convulsing our hearts forever with a ghostly shriek, With moanings of memory that echo a lifetime-long. ’ - Walter Blackstock - It has been said that the world is a stage and the people merely actors upon it Oh, how true this is; and as the camera of life has been focused on our stage, we have found each student acting out a small part of his life. We are fortunate that our camera has captured one year of that role in pictures. For most of our actors, this year has been just one more stepping stone to another grade. However, to some - the seniors - it is one of the biggest steps in life, for this is the last scene in their high school years. These actors have much for which to thank their producers and directors. Many people have put forth their efforts to prepare these young people for the scenes that lie ahead. Yes. this annual has pictured a year at Harrington High School, but the camera of life will continue to focus in the future. Nevertheless, it is fortunate that the camera has recorded these events and activities which shall be remembered for many years to come. 72 To thine own self be true. -Shakespeare-
