KRAMEDAS The Book Club operates a paperback bookstore, which is located in the cafe- teria. The club members and staff oper- ate it in order to help students acquire a genuine liking for good reading. Any student, in grades nine through twelve, who wishes to join the library club is eligible for member- ship. There is a committee of reporters to furnish news articles for the Harring- ton Journal. Johnson. c icfe Jtufe A group of Juniors belong to Miss Dickrager's Slide Rule Club. Since a slide rule can shorten computations such as multiplication, division, square root, cube root, and ratio and proportion problems of that type which they must solve for chemistry, they practice using the slide rule for an hour every other week. The Projection Club is organized to prepare students to operate, service, and maintain audio visual equipment. The members of the nurses club are all interested in nursing and public serv- ice. During the year they have various money-making projects which in some cases are used for charity. The mem- bers of the club type and do office work that has been given to them by their teachers. Each student works as a sec- retary for a teacher.
