junior Class Officers Left to Right: Doris Boyd, Treasurer, Betty Shulaw, Sergeant at Arms, Mary Vassar, Secretary, Mrs. Littlefieldg Gwen Ames, Vice President, Carol Textor, President. junior History Entering activities wholeheartedly in the fall, the class of 1960 carried through a successful candy sale in October. Officers gave first reports November 7 at an assembly in Macomber auditorium. After the business meeting Mr. Alvin Bippus, acting principal, showed slides of an African-European trip. Christmas gifts came in early December for Whitney juniors-class rings! Underclassmen honored the class of 1959 on Junior-Senior Day in March. Each senior was escorted by a junior to a special assembly in' her honor. In early May came preparations for the election of Senior Class Officers. The planning of all classes, Working together on committees, flowered into a never-to-be-forgotten Junior-Senior Prom, May 23. Many girls are already working after school. Each junior is looking forward, with enthusiasm, to the world of business in which she will soon be a part. In her senior year, she sees a successful co-op and a promising future.
