She took additional work at the University of Toledo and other colleges. fl Every vacation finds Mrs. Gerold traveling among other places to the f,,- spy' , homes of her devoted nephews whom she had reared because of the death of their mother, her sister. Each has achieved such a place in society J X as to make parents leven foster parentsl proud. William is a doctor of iff medicine in Rockport, Illinois, Robert teaches history at Brooklyn College in New York, Charles is an engineer with a steel company in Quincy, Massachusetts. Fortunately for Mrs. Gerold, as well as for others, who are wise enough to so prepare themselves, she is a woman of many resources and hobbies. Reading has always had a prominent place in her leisure hours. Ceramics and needle work have absorbed her interest. Some of her work has appeared in craft exhibits at the Toledo Museum of Art. Additional time for these endeavors will assure Mrs. Gerold of happi- ness and contentment in her retirement. .X ff? .Q C1420-Z5 , pefcrfzf, JL ,Aimff 6,44 Za, z LL ffl jifgrfaeeafli jdg,4..2,4-7Lfc,Zc,Z2T .
