Significant Hours in Whitney's Time September 9 Mr. Donald Scott Morrison presented a music assembly. November 4 Mr. George Hammersmith spoke on his experiences as exchange teacher in England. IO Senior forums start with Dr. George M. Cordner speaking on mental health. l7 The forum under Dr. J. N. Fiedelholtz concerned alcoholism. Zl Senior Skate. 23 Father Dunn helped us to see why we should be thankful. December l6 The Glee Club was excellent in the Christmas assembly program. Snow Flake Dance. 22 Christmas party lasted throughout fifth and sixth hours. January l5 Mayor Michael DiSalle told us his impressions of a European trip. 23 Y-Teen Skate. February 3 Second annual Whitney Day. 8 Sophomore Frolic. 9 Mr. James Simmons discussed teen-age recreation with seniors. I3 Junior Skate. l6 Judge Paul Alexander talked about juvenile delinquency at an- other forum. Zl We recognized February's heroes. March 8 Juniors entertained seniors. 9 Preparation for marriage forum was lead by Mrs. Ruth Rusted. 16 A family life discussion naturally followed. l7 Physical education department offered a dance assembly. 30 We were off to Washington. April 6 Easter assembly for presages spring lay-off. 28 Junior Prom. . May - I2 Miss Alice Huebner showed us how to give a really good book review. 20 Senior Prom. 23 Business and Professional Women of Toledo honor seniors at a party. June Z We recognized outstanding seniors. 7 Commencement.
