Following the usual routine, we got down to brass tacks and elected class officers. They were: President, Rosann Tschantzg Vice President, Patsy Tuttleg Treasurer, Marilyn McAlping and Secretary, Audrey Swihart. Our class advisor was Mrs. Beaschler. The planning of class parties required-undivided attention, and we were ewarded by big crowds and lots of fun. Some of our classmates deserve special mention for their excellent work various extra-curricular activities. Rosann Tschantz played a convincing role in the senior play. Beverly Brewer, Paul Smith, Porky Wade, and Kenny Clark had speaking parts in the operetta. Last, but not least we want to applaud Kenny Clark, Jimmy Schwilk, and Chuck French for their good work and hard play during the varsity basketball season. It has been a profitable year for us and we are looking forward to next September. Junior year, here we come! Compliments of Compliments Of MORRAL SUPPLY CO. ROWSE BROS. We got underway immediately by organizing and electing the following as class officers: President. Glenn Parks, Secretary, Mabel Bellg Treasurer, Dolores Wimerq and Reporter, Dorothy Cox. Miss M clntire was appointed our class advisor. Our biggest job was the selling of candy and refreshments at basketball games. The proceeds realized enabled us to sponsor a Junior Senior Banquet. We were very sorry to lose two well-liked classmates, Janice Stief and Harold Boehm. However, life goes on, and in May we presented our class play, Mama's Baby Boyf' As juniors we are proud of our representation in the various school activities. Dolores Wimer, Ott Storzc, ffllerm Parks and Jimmy Brewer were outstanding in the high school opercata. We also appreciated the finc playing and sportsmanship displayed by Ott Stone, Harold Boehm, and Glenn Parks on the basketball floor. Although the year has been an interesting and full one, we are looking ahead to even greater things in our senior year. . J. T. LUCAS CO. We were officially made a part of the high school when the upper grades under the supervision of the seniors gave us a thorough initiation at the annual high school party. The social ball started rolling when we had our Wiener roast in the school park. At semesters we were very sorry to see Shirley Stief leave us. Although we were only freshmen, we made an impression that, we hope, will be remembered for some time. This is largely due to those who have taken part in the school activities. In the cheering section, we had Carol Ralph and Helen Jo Turneyg in the operetta there were Helen Jo Turney, Mildred Matthews, and Sleepy Sigler. and on the basketball floor, Verny Lodge did a fine job. The class officers were: President, Bill Stoneg Vice President, Sleepy Siglerg Treasurer, Curly Althouseg and Reporter, Red Moses. Our class ad- visor was Miss Odone.
