MADAME FOUNTAIN This year Harpeth Hall is losing one of its most youth- ful teachers, Madame Fountain, who has taught French here for many years. By expecting much of us, she has been a constant challenge, but also a patient friend. She has gone far beyond her responsibility as a teacher with her real interest in every girl. We will miss her fine teach- ing and her effervescent personality. Merci et an revoir, Machnne! MRS. GREGORY We shall miss Mrs. Gregory in the years to come. She was one of the first influences in our high school life, and she has remained one of the most important. From her we learned to read with understanding and to write with clarity. She showed us, by example, how to consider each other as important but different individuals. By treating our problems with respect, with understanding, and with insight, she helped us to grow. We shall miss a teacher and a friend. Farewell and thank you, Mrs. Gregory
