RINGMISTRESS BOX SEAT WINNER MRS. SOUBY MISS MIMS Without Mrs. Souby, our ringmistress, the circus could not go on. She directs and co-ordi- nates the Big Top performers; she advises and inspires each of us in oui ' arduous ascent from freshman tumblers to senior trapeze artists. Our ringmistress serves as a standard for the quality of the performance. She boosts spirit and morale as well as keeps clovwis and lions in check. We wish to thank you, Mrs. Souby, ringmistress of our circus, for encouraging the novices with your understanding and for instilling in the vet- eran troupers your gracious dignity and high ideals. It is with much love and appreciation that we, the annual staff, dedicate the 1960 Milestones to Miss Mims. A trainer of star performers, she dis- ciplines with calm firmness, teaches with a keen sense of humor, and softens correction with understanding and sympathy. In homage to the characteristics which make Miss Mims an excel- lent trainer, we enthrone her as honor guest at this our Command Performance. It is in tribute to Miss Mims that the following circus highlights parade in review.
