'F 1' GUSICH FRAZEN DZIMIDAS SWANSON To 1952 Vicfories Although they may never go down in the annals of high school football history as city champs, Harper will never be known as a push-over. Some of the senior players who were outstanding in this season's games were Don Swanson and Tony Gusich, Harper's talented kicker. The backbone of the team consisted of Aumann, Dzimidas, and Fabrizio, who played both offensive and defensive brilliantly and as a result completed many successful plays. The 1952 season was one of the most successful Harper has ever had. They split the games by defeating Englewood, Farragut, and Parker, but were defeated by Du Sable, Bowen and Hyde Park.
