GENE CHESTER Our aim this year has been to provide the best educational program possible in a school of this type and size. The curriculum has been adjusted to the needs and abilities of the individual students, and much effort has been made to bring poor students up to acceptable standards. Students ofhigh ability have been given opportunity and encouragement to go as far as they are capable. We hope that our students have achieved high standards of ethics and conduct. However, we recognized that present conditions have been conducive to many problems. We have tried to make our students aware of their privileges and responsibilities in a democratic society. We have felt that they should be prepared and wisely counseled sothat when they graduate they will be able to choose wisely their next step. The faculty has welcomed you boys and girls to Harper Union High School and has tried to make your stay enjoyable and profitable.
