Peace is that intangible ideal that we try to malce visible through understanding. Without it, ive cannot hope to have a future. We of the 1968 HALVYON stat? wish to dedicate our first publication, just as ive should all dedicate our lives. to the quest for peace through understanding . . . understanding of others stemmed through the understanding of ourselves. Only by hrst discovering who ive are can ive then understand ivho others are. If dedication to understanding is affirmed. the serenity of peace can be manifested. dedication Photographed by Roland G.
