22 Diversified Occupations combined work The Harald L. Richards High School Cluster participated in a program of part-time work and study. Sometimes it was easier to see the importance of study when there was con- structive worlc to give it immediate usefulness. Diversified Occupations trained students who were eager to enter industrial, electrical or other highly accelerated fields. Some of the instructors of the D.O. students were once in a system similar to ours. The D.O. students sold pennants to students and teachers to start our first football season. Candy was also sold to raise money for expenses for the current year.
