Dore The Junior Class of Harmony High School consists of twenty-two students. So far this year we have had a suc- cessful food sale and in the fu- ture we plan to have a Witches Ball, auction, and talent show. Those participating in cross-country are Bobby Cooley, Tim Lawrence, and Fred Gosbee. Those on the boys' basketball team this year are Bobby Cooley, Tim Lawrence, and Roger Annis. David Cotta is the manager of cross-country, boys' basketball, and baseball teams. Those on the girls' basket- ball team are Darlene Dore, Jan Giovannucci, Kathy Watson, Nancy Chadbourne, and Deb Watson. Jan Giovannucci is the only cheerleader from our . class. Mr. Shaw is our home room teacher and class advisor. Brenda Dore is the only member participating in girls' basketball. Judi Pease is mana- ger. Members participating in boys' basketball are John Pease and Dean Willis. Everett Libby is- the manager. The only cheerleader in the sophomore class is Gloria Giovannucci. For fund-raising projects we sponsored the Freshman Re- ception and a food sale. We wish to thank the parents and teachers for making these activities suc- cessful. On September 24, 1965, we were initiated into high school. Our plans for raising mone include having foodsales, spon- soring record hops, and selling Royal Products . Those taking part in boys' basketball and other sports are Wayne Washburne, Darrell Woodard, Brian Annis, Dennis LaGross, and Bruce McCarthy. Herrick Chorus This year the chorus participated in a joint Christmas concert with the Athens Academy Chorus. It was a big success and we enjoyed taking part in it. We also put on a concert in the spring which featured a wide variety of music. Our selections included pieces from Lerner Sz Lowe, Rogers Sz Hammerstein, and also from the religious group. The chorus would like to thank Mrs. Rita Reed for assisting us at the piano. Without Mrs. Reed's efforts it would have been very hard to accomplish many of the things we have done this year. K.V.
