Memories. . . The following is an editorial which was put together from personal essays written by Seniors. If a composite 1967 graduate of Har- mony could give you his impression, he might say--- One of the first things that comes to my mind is that I can't believe that I am a senior and ready for college next fall. I always thought I couldn't wait to be a seniorg now I'd just as soon be a freshman and start over doing everything right, such as studying harder, trying harder in sports, and taking more in- terest in extracurricular activitieshother than sports. The next thing that comes to my mind is the school building itself. Here it is, clear out here in the country. To me it's kind of like going to country school. I never went to country school so I don't know, but I know it's a long way to come. The con- solidation of Farmington, Bonaparte, and Hillsboro has given me a chance to make many new friends. I have so many impressions that I couldn't possibly write them all, but here are a few of them: C11 The freshmen seem to be getting smaller and dumber every year. I mean this very seriously, and I know I'm not growing enough to make it seem that they're getting smaller. If they give Harmony half a chance, I think they'll come out of it. C21 I'll miss partici- pating in the sports events. Q39 I'l1 miss the feeling of knowing almost everybody. There will be so many strange faces in college. Q47 There are a fantastic number of students who are suffering under the pressure of high society. They are afraid to appear in any way dedicated to the school for fear someone will make fun. I'd like to see the day when other schools would shudder with the mere thought of competing with Harmony in any way. 455 Teachers seem to be more interested in students personally, and this makes me want to work harder to make better grades. , After all is said and done, I can look back and see bad and goodewith the latter away out in front- and if anyone ever asks me, I'1l be more than happy to say, I'm from HARMONY HIGH SCHOOL.
